League Teams
The club has 5 ladies’, 5 men’s and 4 mixed teams in the Surrey LTA leagues.
Playing standard from the 1st - 5th teams is as wide as those at our club sessions, so there’s a team for all standards and everyone is welcome to put themselves forward.
The men’s & ladies’ summer season runs from April – September, winter from October – March. The mixed is May – August.
There are usually 5 matches per season for men’s & ladies, and 4 or 5 for mixed, so approximately one per month. Potential team members can say if they hope to play in every match, or only want to play a few. Teams are often looking for subs for the regulars.
Ladies’ & Men’s matches are played at weekends; Mixed on weekday evenings (Thursday or Friday for home matches).
Fixtures are split roughly half home, half away.
There are two pairs from each club for each fixture, which comprises two matches for each pair. If matches go to one set all a championship tiebreak is played for the 3rd set. Fixtures usually last about three hours.
You can see how the teams or specific players are getting on here.
Annual Tournament
Every summer we hold our Club Championships with Finals' Day in mid July. The events are Men's Singles, Ladies' Singles, Men's Doubles, Ladies' Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Boys' Singles and Girls' Singles. All of the events also comes with a plate event for first round losers to ensure every pair plays at least two matches. The events are open to all members and there is a small fee to cover the cost of trophies for all winners and runners up. Winners of the main events are diplayed in the clubhouse on our honours boards.
